Today was busy. I had to go out to the field trying to beat the weather for work. I failed…
It could have been worst. I thought it was going to be.
But I did get home really late and hadn’t gotten anything for my 75 Hard Challenge done.
So now I sit here working while my family is at the movies. I will not give up my challenge for such a small thing.
It would have been great to go to the movies with the family, and I love going to the movies. But sometimes other things need to get done.
It’s those things that make you better that always seem to slip when you get busy. You let your gym workout go for a couple days. You cancel your doctor’s appointment. You go out to eat for dinner after dinner. Years of doing this makes you fat and out of shape. Trust me, that’s what happened to me.
Can you reverse the trend? Can you make you more important then other things? If you don’t, it will cost you dearly later.
Now I have to go for my workout and not go with my family to the movies. My health is suffering and life is harder then it should be. I’m fat and out of shape with high blood pressure. I can’t do all the things I want to in life with my kid.
So here I sit, paying for my bad habits.
