Today was tough in the morning. The workout got done, but the rain was pounding and I got soaked through. It was challenging and I enjoyed it! The challenge continues and I will get through.
Now I’m working and trying to get ahead for the week. It’s going to be a tough one with all the travel and work that needs to happen. But I will keep it going and figure it out. Just get up earlier and maybe have less sleep for the week.
I did sleep well last night, finally. Maybe my body if finally adjusting to what I’m doing. But I’ll keep going not matter what.
My mission is to finish 75 Hard whether it kills me or not. I was wondering if the weather this morning might try to kill me since there was lightning strikes in the area and flash flood warnings in my area. But I survived and enjoyed the challenge of the weather.
At first the weather was miserable. My water proof jacket and boots aren’t water proof. So about 10 minutes in my left boot was sloshing with water. Then 20 minutes in my right followed. About 30 minutes in I was just wet through and enjoying the challenge leaning into the wind, head down, just one foot in front of the other.
Todays lesson seems to be enjoy the challenge or journey. Life is truly a journey that we have to enjoy no mater how hard it is or what’s going on. Victor Frankl (Man’s Search for Meaning), “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” This is where I am on my journey with the 75 Hard Challenge.
