Today was a good day. Life is good. I went for a bike ride early this morning with a good friend, got my stitches out (done by the same friend), and shot a competition. After that did some family things and did the rest of my 75 Hard Challenge.
This is the last thing on my list and I’m tired. Think I’ll sleep in tomorrow.
It was a good day. And life is good. But I’m a little down. I really thought when I got my stitches out I’d be ready to weight life again. But after looking at my wound, there is no way. I’ll rip it open worse trying to move heavy weights. And I bumped it on something today and it hurt more then ever.
But it is working a little better to type. I have it taped and hopefully it will stay that way. So at least I can get something done better… or at least back to normal. Before I was typing one handed or typing regularly with my right hand and hunting and pecking with my left middle finger. So little victories it is.
But life is good. I’m still kicking. I shot well today, but not great. Last competition I shot great. I guess I just need a little more work again. But I had a lot of fun and did things outside my comfort zone on the range, so overall the day will make me a better shooter. On top of that, just had fun.
So I’m going to end on this was a good day, and life is good.
How are you doing in the Challenge? Can you do it? Have you tried? Think you can? I dare you to try!
