It’s early!
Today we are having a fun family camping trip with the cub scouts so I’m up early to make sure I get my post done.
Everything else I can do while camping, it’s just this one thing that I need to get done before we leave. Glad the trip didn’t start earlier so I didn’t have to get up that early!
So I’ll do my 5 things in the morning as I planned them.
I think that is what I’m learning more and more. You have to plan what you will get done every day. And make sure of that is to better yourself.
If I have the plan the night before, then I can start at the appropriate time to make sure it gets done. If I had not gotten up early and done this post and podcast, it would not have gotten done.
So for the rest of my life, I need to know what my plan for the day is the night before.
I’ve also learned that my wife is different then me. Shocking!
She wants to have a list of things to do and no real time crunches to get them done. I like having the regimented days that are all mostly the same with times. That way I can slip into the routine of everything planned so I can make sure everything gets done without extra planning, thought, or motivation it takes to mentally push myself from one task to the next.
So we are learning more and more on how to work together about everything. It’s a fun project that will never be complete.
How are you doing on your 75 Hard Challenge? Are you getting everything done?
75 Hard I will Conquer,
Ben Branam
I am starting this challenge tomorrow, since I just listened to the podcast today. I am pretty excited. Mostly because it seems like a great challenge to me. I’m so glad I found your blog. Can you enlighten me on what a test day is? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Robyn
