Day 69… The teenager in me wants to make a horrible joke here. But I’m older and better, so I’ll refrain.
Today was about getting up and getting after it the first half of the day. A bike ride and then a shooting competition. Then come home and do some work for the real job and do my morning routine.
I realized during the ride and after finishing David Goggins book Can’t Hurt Me that I need to be in the present. Embrace the pain and the suffering during the ride to see what I am capable of.
I know I’ve been working hard, but I haven’t been giving 100% plus more. I’ve been taking it easy in places. Not this morning. I gave it my all, especially as a sprint for the last half mile. I’m going to continue to push what is possible.
It was a tiring long day, but a good day.
Now I’m finishing this and headed to sleep.
Five more day for me on this challenge.
Where are you on your challenge? Are you almost there? Can you make it?
