Lisa here with and update on how my modified 75 Hard is going. In case you missed it Ben and I are doing things a bit differently this time around.
My husband and I are altering our challenge a little. We will be doing these five things everyday:
- Drink a Gallon of Water
- Set a Daily Schedule and Stick to It
- Workout every Day
- Create a Content Post each every day
- Post 2 Social Media posts per day
Today was pretty good. As always I’m still working on my water and I still need to get a work out in. Doesn’t cleaning count as a workout? I feel like it should. What do you think? I know I know do a real workout. Well Ben isn’t home yet so I guess I’m doing some pilates, since I sure as heck am not walking by myself in the dark.
I got a ton of work done during the time my son was at his Spanish class today. I just took my laptop to Starbucks down the street and got after it. I have a tone of social posts scheduled out for my hyperlocal site. Of course I got so focused I didn’t drink hardly any water until like noon today… again. I think I might start setting alarms so I remember to drink water in the morning, or maybe I should put it in my planner. Either way I have to start drinking water earlier.
I cleaned for a few hours today since my parents are coming to visti from California, and though I feel like that should count as my workout I’m going to do a real workout and do pilates as soon as my kid goes to bed. Look at me getting things done, even when I don’t really want to.
That’s really the key to 75 Hard. Doing things even when you don’t want to, even when it isn’t convenient, or you don’t have the time. The truth is we make time for what’s important. This is important to my health, to my business, to my growth, to my family.
