Day 12 was hard, but good. I did a fun bike ride with my buddy John and then went to Starbucks with him. I had the egg whites and water and was easily able to stick with the diet while he enjoyed his drink.
After the ride I stuck to the diet and watched a movie.
Right after the movie went to my second workout at the gym. It was a drag, but I got it done.
Before the ride I started the day correctly with getting up on time, doing my morning routine and reading. I finished the book I was working on. The book, Atomic Habits was good and I found a couple jewels that I need to review that were worth the time. I am about half way through another book on habits (can you tell I’m obsessed right now with better habits) called Will Power Doesn’t Work. It’s all about setting up your world to make habits easy. I’ll let you know how that goes.
My weight was up a little at the end of the day… but weight will always fluctuate. You can see my progress live (as I enter everything) in the spread sheet at the bottom left of this page.
Water continues to be easy, and I really like that something in this thing is getting easier not harder.
Hope this inspires you to try the challenge. It’s hard, but worth it. I’m trying to push the positive parts of the challenge to keep myself motived.
