Day 3 of 75 Hard Challenge Round 2

Two days down and lots to go! I’m starting to enjoy the challenge and be more productive again. It’s amazing what you see when you get a mission and how much your life improves for it.

Work is starting to slow down and there won’t be a lot to do, most of us, including me, would say YES! But with this challenge going on I don’t want to sit around and do nothing. I want something to be productive. So I got on the phone with people at work and found a couple more things I can do to add value to the company while my recruiting is slow. I’m plugged in as we like to say at my company.

I’ve been doing the challenge for three days and already feeling better. The first day sucked! The second was better, and now I’m getting into the groove and starting to improve myself again. It only took three days of hard work to start turning my life for the better again.

Here are the 10 things I’m doing everyday as my challenge:

  1. Do the Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
  2. Workout
  3. Do a Post and Podcast here
  4. Snap In
  5. Work on creating content on my side hustle for at least 30 minutes
  6. Track my Time from Off the Clock by Laura Vanderkam
  7. Slow Carb Diet from The 4-Hour Body by Tim Ferriss
  8. Drink One Gallon of Water
  9. Drink Two Protein Shakes
  10. Two Social Media Posts

Yesterday I talked about the Miracle Morning and how it made my life better (check it out here if you missed it).

Today it’s all about the workouts! I’m doing 7 workouts a week, one every day. I just can’t do it a couple times a week. It needs to be that habit and it makes me feel great, like I could conquer anything after a great workout. I want that feeling seven times a week. I even put my workouts back in the morning so I can try and ride that high all day.

The workouts are going, just not really well right now. I spent Saturday evening arm wrestling people at work.

That’s the pastor of Revolution Church and one of my oldest friends. I won. But everyone kept asking the pastor if he let me win. If you know him, there is no way. But we had fun.

Now my arm hurts. I did a decent workout Monday but have been restricted to the treadmill and elliptical the last couple days because moving my arm hurt. It’s starting to get better and a little advil goes a long way.

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to do a good workout.

Until then, I’ll keep going as much as I can.

I did add something to my Miracle Morning, from the book Focal Point by Bryan Tracy that I’m reading as part of my challenge is to look over your goals every day. I’m going to do that to keep them top of mind.

I have three goals I’m working on, better Health, get out of debt, and produce more content for my side hustles. Two out of three are on their way and I’m doing much better. The debt one is slow and painful, but now that I’m focusing more on it, I think that one will turn too.

75 Hard I will Conquer,
