Today felt like a long day. I’m on the road and working hard. But my work had less work for me then was anticipated and I got to the hotel early with not much to do.
I did my five things today. Started early this morning by getting up early and getting my day started.
Took a walk for a workout and moved a bunch of stuff at work.
Now I’m finishing this up for my content.
Seems like an easy day, but I’m tired. Hotels alone suck.
I was really enjoying putting my day together with my wife everyday and now I’ve been on my own for two days. I know it seems stupid, but I miss doing little things right.
We’ve been through all this stuff before and it’s just a little home sickness. I’ll be home tomorrow afternoon.
It’s just that idol hands thing. When I didn’t have as much work as I had planned I watched about 2 hours of TV and then everything goes to crap.
I really have to make sure I keep myself busy. Last night I didn’t have any problems because I worked late and then read to fall asleep. Now I’m just hanging around.
I do have this to finish and then I think I’ll get to bed early and head home a little earlier then I first thought tomorrow because, why not. I’m thankful for a job that I can do that with.
I’m more thankful for this challenge. Before it, I would have sat around the hotel room the entire night and not done anything but stare at the TV. Now I have something motivating and necessary to do.
What about you? Do you have something that can pull you out of the funk? This challenge can help you find your way out of a lot of things that you don’t want to do. It challenges you to be better, demand more from yourself, and do more things that are good for you.
I am thankful for this challenge. How about you?
