Day 34 of 75 Hard Round 3

Hey everyone it’s Lisa again. Today was a really busy day for me. The kind of day I would have normally just gone out to lunch to make things easier, but I didn’t. I managed to get day 34 of my 75 hard challenge done today without trying too hard.

My son and I went to a local festival with $5 carnival tide wristbands. We left the house a little before eleven and before we left I made sure my son ate and more importantly, since I tend to skip breakfast, that I ate. We had a great time at the festival and left by 1:00 since Texas can’t get it’s act together and actually have fall weather, so we were dying in the heat. By that time we were tired and hungry. Perfect drive thru excuse. Instead, we took out hot selves to the grocery store to buy sandwich meat and yogurt, since I only went to Costco yesterday and not the regular grocery store like I normally do. We got home, made sandwiches, and cooled off for an hour before I had to head to work early. I also had to do some extra manual labor and problem solving at work that I normally don’t deal with on Saturdays. Busy and hot I’m proud that we didn’t go out to eat. Needless to say I got in well over 10,000 steps and my exercise and water in for the day. I also drank over a gallon of water, with all the heat and activity.

I followed my schedule too, cutting back a bit on some stuff I wanted to do this afternoon to go to work earlier than expected. I for sure learned some leadership lessons with that this afternoon.

Social media was simple today. I even did a Facebook live of the festival we attended. It’s been awhile since I did one and realized later the phone was moving a bit too much as I walked.

Of course content is this so obviously if you are reading it I got that done.
