I did it! Actually Lisa and I did it. We completed our goals for 75 days in a row. We did:
- Drink a Gallon of Water per Day
- Schedule our Days
- 2 Social Media Posts
- 1 Content Post
- 1 Work Out
Not too bad. We never missed a single thing in a single day. It’s actually a lot of work. It always seems easy, but life is always in the way.
And I did take a day this round because I had a surgery. But I only let that stop me for one day, the day I was under the knife. Even then next day I was up and about doing my 5 things. It was great.
I loved having the goal to do everyday. Now I just need to keep it going. Not sure what I’m going to do next.
I do know I’m going to take a little break for the holidays. I will not be doing a 75 Hard Challenge and my family and I will be traveling for a couple weeks over Christmas.
I don’t have an official challenge to start, but I’ve found a couple things I am going to work on.
1 – Protein Intake: I really want to get into a power lifting meet next year, so I need to start eating like a power lifter. That means lots of protein. I need at least 200 grams a day, so that is what I’m starting with. Later it will be closer to 300. I started that today and was able to hit 252.2 according to the food tracker app I’m using.
2 – Starting Strength Linear Progression: This is the workout I’m going to do for the next nine to twelve weeks. The program goes for as long as you can. It’s pretty simple. Do the power lifting exercises three times a week. Put five to ten pounds more on the bar ever workout out. Easy.
I’m excited about the next thing in my life and to set goals for next year. During the family travels I will be sitting down to figure out what I want to do for my next 75 Hard Challenge I will start in January.
I know diet, the Miracle Morning, and probably content generation will be on it. I’ll have to figure out the rest.
Thanks for taking the journey with us. How did you 75 Hard go?
I’ll let you know when we are going to start our next one so that you can do it too.
