15 Days and a wake up left! I’m almost there. Not because I’m tired of the challenge. I’m actually enjoying the challenge most of the time.
I still get hungry for crap that I shouldn’t have… but I know I’m totally an addict when it comes to sugar so I really think it’s something I will never get away from. After the challenge I’ll keep the diet, it really isn’t that bad. I just won’t be perfect. I will also have a beer with my friends from time to time.
Workouts are going to change. I’m already outlining a new workout program so that I can continue to do walks with the family a couple mornings a week and get my weight lifting back on track to make some massive gains in strength. It will be a week of doing set of 20 for a couple hours four times a week in the gym to get use to lifting for longer again. Then I’ll go back to 3 sets of 5 and use a linear progression I learned from The Barbell Logic Podcast. If you want to get strong go listen to those guys and start at the beginning. Do what they say and you’ll strong fast!
I will keep reading! 10 pages a day seems to be a great start to life. It’s hard for me to get that much done a day, but it keeps me growing and that’s how I’ve found I can change the world. I grow myself to help others grow. If we all did that, the world would grow. Seams like a really easy thing to help make the world a better place, so I’ll keep doing it.
Progress pictures need to be taken of life. We have so many pictures without true meaning. I worked for an Armored Car Company for almost 7 years and don’t even have one picture of myself or friends when I worked there. It’s so easy now a days to take a meaningful picture of ourselves and our world. It creates memories and lets you pull through those later.
Drinking a gallon of water is something I’ll keep doing for the rest of my life. It’s so much better for me that I can’t even comprehend what it’s started doing to my health. But I already feel better for it, so I’ll keep doing it.
My challenge is coming to end. Where’s yours? let me know in the comments.
