Six days to go and still working hard at it. We, as a family got up today to take the kid to scout camp and then hang out with him for a couple days in the woods camping.
It’s not as bad as it sounds, but continuing my journey becomes a little harder.
Lisa was smart and got up and got most of her stuff done in the morning before we left. I had to pack the truck so I didn’t do much.
Now I get to write and record on my phone. It’s not impossible but it’s not easy.
I just have to gut it out for a couple days and get things done. It’s not as hard as I thought it would be.
Right now it’s harder to keep the wife and kid from getting into it for disagreements over who should do what. I’m in the middle. Always fun to be a father and challenging.
I’ll continue no matter what. Just some times are tougher then it should be. What do you do when life gets hard? Do you throw in the towel or dig in? There aren’t too many more choices. I’m digging in.
