Day 9 of 75 Hard

Today will be my most challenging day yet. I’m headed to the field to do the other part of my real job. I’ve finished my first workout this morning and will get my second one (a walk around the oil fields) at about 1pm today. I have my food planned and my work partner on board. All of this should be good and then I won’t have a rush back from the field to get to a workout.

Yesterday was a hard drag with doing extra work for the VP. Now I have water with me (I just looked and stopped to take a drink) to make sure I don’t get behind on that.

The secret to the water drinking, is get a head of it early. I was told that by one of my close friends a long time ago, when you need a project done, set a schedule, and then work to get yourself a head. I’ve also been told this in business, when you start something new, get as much done and out a head as you possibly can. Then you will be on easy street.

I’ve never really fully realized how getting a head helps or hurts you until yesterday when I was standing there trying to chug 40 ounces of water before heading for a workout. It wasn’t easy and hurts the stomach. Guess pain is a good teacher?

I’m headed out the door for my next challenge.
